Brad and Matt held their final drive out and open day of the year on Saturday and were once again blessed with fabulous sunshine and an incredible turnout. An impressive 15 cars took the The Only Way is (North) Essex route out through some of the prettiest villages in Essex, including Thaxted, Finchingfield, Wethersfield, Great Yeldham and Steeple Bumpstead. Covering 56 miles in a little under 2 hours, the cars managed to remain together for much of the route, before heading back to the Franklins hub for a well deserved hot drink and some fresh sandwiches and cakes. It was fantastic to see so many of our regular customers joining us for the drive and catching up back at the garage. We were also thrilled to welcome back several new owners of cars sold by Matt in recent months. Thank you to Alex Green @theessexelise for organising the route and for his leadership on the day. We already have lots of plans brewing for the 2027 season and can’t wait to get started.
